For decades, our school has stood as a testament to faithful sacrifice, built by those who believed in a Christ-centred education and gave generously to make it possible. Now, it's our turn to steward that strength.
Through Renew & Rise: From Sacrifice to Strength, we are investing in modern, Christ-centred spaces, revitalizing classrooms, corridors, outdoor learning areas, and multi-use community hubs.
This is more than a facility upgrade project. It’s a renewal of a collective mission. A chance to preserve the strength of our Christ-centred school - for this generation and for those to come.
Will you take part in this renewal with us?
Campaign Update
Phase 1 of our Renew & Rise campaign is already gaining momentum, thanks to the early efforts of dedicated staff and parents. With initial funds raised, and a soft booking secured for summer 2026, we’re preparing to move forward with two priority upgrades: the replacement of the gym floor and the addition of sports lines in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR).
The total cost of Phase 1 is $120,000:
- $110,000 for the replacement of the gym floor
- $10,000 for the addition of sports lines in the MPR
We’ve already raised $19,300 for the gym floor. To help accelerate this momentum, the school is offering a 2:1 matching opportunity, tripling the impact of the first $30,000 in gifts. That means your $100 becomes $300, bringing us significantly closer to fully funding this project.
We’re pleased to share that the MPR project is nearly fully funded. With $3,095 already raised and the school tripling the impact of that amount to $9,285 raised, only $715 remains to fully fund this project.
Every gift moves us one step closer to renewing these shared spaces. We invite you to pray, participate, and partner with us in this meaningful work, and help us to complete Phase 1 by unlocking the full matching opportunity by November 2025.
Learn more about the campaign
As part of our Succession 2030 Strategic Plan and our ongoing commitment to Vibrant Student Experiences, the Renew & Rise campaign will address three key areas of facility revitalization: Multi-Use Community Spaces; Classrooms and Interior Corridors; and Outdoor Learning and Activity Areas. The work will be carried out in phases across the three revitalization areas, beginning with Multi-Use Community Spaces.
What’s involved in the Multi-Use Community Spaces upgrade?
The upgrade focuses on enhancing shared school spaces that support everyday student life and community engagement. Planned upgrades include:
- Replacement of the gym floor to improve safety and support our growing athletics program
- Addition of sports lines in the MPR to ensure fair access to physical education for younger students
- Improved school office reception area for visibility, accessibility, and security
- Upgraded sound and technology in the MPR for chapels and performances
- Enhanced security systems to support a safe school environment
Why is Phase 1 the replacement of the gym floor and the sports lines in the MPR?
The gym and the MPR are two of the most used and visible spaces in our school. Open daily to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, they host physical education classes, athletic practices and tournaments, intramurals, and school-wide gatherings. These spaces bring our community together, welcome visiting schools, and showcase the strength of Christian education. As enrolment and programming grow, these two upgrades mark a significant step forward in enhancing athletics and physical education for all students. The passion behind these two upgrades, along with their alignment to our capital asset replacement plan, made them a top priority to complete over the next five years.
Special acknowledgments!
The gym floor replacement was made possible through the leadership of Tom Simes, SCS teacher and Athletics Director, and an SCS parent, whose vision and volunteer efforts over a seven-month period helped move the project from concept to reality.
The addition of sports lines in the MPR reflects the dedication of our elementary staff, who have diligently raised funds over the last several years through various talent shows and carnival events, to improve the physical education program for elementary students.
Thank you again to our dedicated staff and parents who believe our students deserve the best quality learning environments!
