Driver Education 2025
The Driver Education class is a specialized educational program designed to teach individuals the necessary skills and knowledge to become safe and responsible drivers. The primary goal of the class is to equip students with the information and abilities required to obtain a driver's license and to navigate the roadways with confidence, and includes both 30 hours in-class and 6 hours in-car training by an SGI-accredited teacher.
Driver Education classes are held once a year. Course dates/times are arranged based on student interest and instructor availability.
Our Driver Education program will begin on August 27, 28, and 29, 2025, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at Saskatoon Christian School. Students should bring a lunch for the half hour lunch break. The remaining sessions will be conducted during the school year.

Driver Education Sign-Up
Requirements:
- Be 15 years old on or before January 31, 2026.
- Complete the SGI Signature Form, signed by Mr. Long, and submit the form to SGI. This form must be submitted to get your learner's license and start your in-car sessions.
- Attend a total of 30 hours of in-class instruction at Saskatoon Christian School.
- Attend 6 hours of in-car instruction (to be scheduled by the driving instructor).
- Pass the in-class exams and the in-car driving test.
Students are encouraged to visit the information bulletin board in the high school hallway for more details.
