Enrolment Withdrawal

SCS values long-term partnerships with families in the education of their children.  SCS makes decisions related to hiring staff, classes, and purchasing curriculum and materials based on anticipated enrolment.  Your plans influence our decisions so if you choose to withdraw from SCS for the next school year, please complete the Enrolment Withdrawal Notification Form below as your official notice of withdrawal.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
There may be a withdrawal penalty associated with your account as outlined below.  If the Enrolment Withdrawal Notification Form is received:

  • On or before May 15, you will not be charged tuition/fees for the upcoming school year.
  • Between May 16 and May 31, you will be charged a penalty equivalent to one (1) month’s tuition.
  • Between June 1 and June 30, you will be charged a penalty equivalent to two (2) months’ tuition.
  • After June 30, you will be charged a penalty equivalent to two (2) months’ tuition plus the monthly tuition for each month after June up to and including the withdrawal date.

    *Note: all penalties are based on the following year’s tuition schedule.

SCS recognizes that there can be extenuating circumstances that prompt a student withdrawal. Families withdrawing a student after May 15 may be exempt from penalties if the family is moving/relocating a minimum of 50 kilometers away from the school; if school administration initiates the withdrawal; or, under other circumstances approved by division administration.
