Course Selection for the 2026-2027 School Year

Important to Note:
- All grade 9 classes are mandatory. No course selections are necessary.
- Grade 10-12 students need to make course selections for both SCS and SaskDLC within the dates listed above.
- Grade 10 students may select one Sask DLC course per year.
- Grade 11 & 12 students may select one Sask DLC course per semester.
- Students/parents will be contacted by email for an appointment with Admin if a
course drop, work period, or DLC course are requested. Please watch your inbox in mid-late August. Appointments will be assigned for students in early September.

Please note:
- We strongly suggest using a desktop or laptop computer to complete the course selection form online. Some users have reported difficulties selecting courses using the browsers on mobile devices (e.g. smartphones) so please consider switching to the "View Full Site" option on your mobile browser or use another device.
- If you don’t receive a confirmation email after your have submitted your form, your request has not been completed and you should submit another form.
- Course requests will be granted in the order in which the forms are submitted, with preference being given to the earliest requests. After a class you are requesting has filled, you will automatically be placed in one of the other options available to you.
- If you have made an error or change your mind about a selection, submit another online form. The form with the most recent date will be considered your selection.

Sask DLC Online Elective Options 2026-2027
Ready to take an online course? The Sask DLC offers over 120 high school courses, allowing students to explore passions, try new trades, and gain valuable career-focused skills.
Students in grade 10 can enroll in one DLC course per year and students in grade 11 and grade 12 can enroll in one DLC course per semester.
High School Course Changes
You are responsible for making sure that you have the prerequisites needed to take the courses that you are requesting on the form below. If you do not have the prerequisite, you will be shifted to an available course for which you have the prerequisite.
DEADLINE TO ADD/DROP SEMESTER ONE COURSES: SEPTEMBER 16, 2026
Grades 10-12 students who wish to add/drop a class must:
- Complete the High School Course Change Request Form below (including the parental signature) and if adding a DLC course, also bring the completed Single Payment Authorization Form.
- Forms are available in two places:
- “High School Course Information” bulletin board in the High School hallway
- School Office

- Book an appointment with an administrator to discuss your graduation plan (see the School Office).
- Attend all classes in which you are currently enrolled until this process is complete (unless your parent has notified the school office that you are excused from your current class). Courses are not considered officially dropped/added until the steps above are completed. Students are still expected to attend classes until the drop is official.
