Since its inception in 1983, Saskatoon Christian School has continued to be recognized as a school that offers high quality education with a distinctly Christian perspective. As a result, families from a twenty mile radius of the school have chosen SCS as the school for their children.

The program at Saskatoon Christian School is designed to help students explore, enjoy and understand - to the best of their ability, the gift of God’s universe and their role in it as Christ’s image bearers. The concept of "a total education" concerns itself with the whole personality of a student. It seeks to prepare the students mentally, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually for living. This total preparation for life is the objective of Saskatoon Christian School. Our curriculum is designed to equip students to respond and be responsible to our Lord Jesus Christ. We strive to on a daily basis deliver a curriculum that provides avenues for the Holy Spirit to do the work of conviction in the lives of our students.

As seen in our vision statement, the spiritual emphasis and biblical worldview permeates our curriculum, weekly chapel and special programs. At SCS we are committed to the fulfillment of all aspects of our vision statement in the lives of each our students. Our greatest desire is to see our students seek after God in greater depth, desiring the "heart of God". Thus when a student graduates from SCS, we strive for them to go into the world to reflect Christ.

A fully accredited K- 12 school, SCS has a 25 year history of academic excellence and steady growth. Our students score above average on provincially–normed standardized tests. Visitors regularly comment on the unique and loving environment at SCS; students are taught by Christian educators about God’s activity within human history. SCS recognizes the Bible as God’s direct, infallible, inerrant revelation in Scripture. Christian education is designed to make Christ the focal point in the thought process and ultimately in behaviour.
