Please remember that the school has a contractual relationship with Hertz Northern Bus to provide a specific level of service and that this service is offered to your family by SCS, not Hertz. To best manage this service, it is critical that communications related to bussing be directed to the school office – not to Hertz – with the following EXCEPTIONS:

Temporary cancellation of a morning pick-up (from your home). By “temporary” we generally mean any service cancellation that does not result in a billing or account change. Examples would include cancellation for reason of illness, family holiday or when alternate driving arrangements have been made. If you wish to temporarily cancel an afternoon pick-up (from the school), please contact the school office as we are responsible for the student(s) until returned to your care.

Checking on the status of a late pick-up from, or drop-off at, your home.
With both of these exceptions, please call the Hertz office at 374-5161. Please do not phone your bus driver. We have been assured by Hertz that their office staff will be responding to calls any time after 6:45AM on school days and they will, in turn, radio the affected driver as required.
